“Professional Excellence” is how we rate all the work carried out for my wife and I.

There were two tranches of work; first was the total replacement of the existing staircase which was so good and looked superb that my wife and I decided to have all the associated internal doors replaced in matching wood. The work was first class with attention to detail all that we hoped for. As an engineer I was concerned that the replacement staircase and landing pillars would not be as sound as the originals – solid as a rock. My wife and I cannot commend Alex and his mate Jason highly enough. In addition to work of the highest quality they took great care to protect existing decor and fittings. They were also always on time with agreed arrival/start times. On one occasion, travelling from Fife to our house in Edinburgh, they were caught up in a prolonged traffic delay due to an accident on the Forth Road Bridge. Alex phoned to advise of the situation and gave a revised estimated arrival time. Such consideration and detail is very refreshing and reassuring these days.

We didn’t want too much time to pass without writing to say thank you again for all your hard work and endeavour, transforming what was previously a run of the mill staircase into something really special.

Having watched your team at work it was a pleasure to see old-fashioned standards being used to sculpt a modern masterpiece.

The quality of workmanship is excellent and the effort and attention to detail were impressive indeed.
